If the Skyscraper Museum gallery was a time machine and we traveled back 50 years, we’d be standing on sand! The neighborhood that is now Battery Park City was created as new land in the Hudson River, beginning with some excavations from the foundations for the original World Trade Center. In this program, we’ll time travel back forty years to see how artists turned landfill in Battery Park City into art projects, then imagine and draw our own projects for outdoor land art or public sculptures using photography. All ages welcome. Please note, this a repeat program from our summer schedule.
